Spring

Boronia 'Heaven Scent' heralds the arrival of spring. Highly perfumed flowers cover this compact plant, the fragrance can be enjoyed throughout the garden. Boronia need very well drained soil and some moisture during summer, however many people are happy to enjoy these Australian beauties as a long lasting and fragrant bunch of flowers.

Alyogyne 'West Coast Gem' is a premier plant. Performing consistently well throughout the season it will reward its fans with high scoring points all year long!

Well worth a spot in any garden, as long as it is in the hottest and driest position it will thrive. Don't be afraid to trim it regularly to keep flowers coming and bushier growth.

Clematis 'Jackmani' hybrids are breathtaking during the Spring months. Stunning saucer shaped blooms in rich tones of blue pink and burgundy give way to blush and pastel tones.

Clematis need some care in the garden, pruning through the season and summer water but they will reward you with one of the most beautiful floral displays.

Summer

Summer is the time for vibrant colours in the garden and Hibiscus are the ultimate summer garden plant.

Dazzling shades of pink, red, orange, yellow and white with single and double flowers mean something for every one.

Take care not to plant you hibiscus in heavy clay, they enjoy a light free draining soil.

Bougainvillea conjures up balmy summer days and holiday feelings. One of the hardiest summer blooming climbers they perform beautifully in hot and dry areas. Dwarf varieties can be grown in tubs. The climbing varieties are fantastic over large arch ways or pergolas.

Million Bells are extremely popular as pot plants or small ground cover plants in the garden. They are related to petunias and share many of their endearing features. Great colour range and long flowering, these short lived perennial plants provide great value for a couple of seasons.

Autumn

Autumn is one of the loveliest times to enjoy your garden, calm sunny days make it a pleasure to be out doors. Deciduous trees highlight this season, wonderful hues of reds, orange, golds and clarets define this lovely season.

Find room in your garden for a Crepe Myrtle, an ornamental pear 'Chanticleer' or maybe an ornamental grapevine.

Limonium Perezii or perennial statice is a great all rounder for any style of garden. Blooming for the whole year it is at it's best during the colder months. Rich mauve blooms stand tall above the plant, it makes a lovely cut or dried flower.

Winter

Winter need not be a dull season in the garden, camellias make sure of that. The ever popular Japonica camellias provide beautiful blooms right through the cold months into spring. Very hardy once they are established camellias enjoy a partly shaded spot in the garden.

Anthurium or Flamingo Flower is a delightful indoor plant that is much easier to grow than you may think! Well suited to a bright room, away from the heater, it will flower almost the whole year through.
